Show Topic: Dr Judith Ingalls
Romy Nelson is a registered dietetic technician and personal trainer, and this show is about helping people find their path to health and fitness. She specializes in corporate wellness programs to help businesses keep their employees healthy, which helps improves workplace morale and productivity.
In this episode, Romy and Michael talk about overcoming the frustration of the plateau, and the long-term benefits of a slower weight loss regimen.
Also, special guest Dr Judith Ingalls visits to talk about hormones and how they can affect us as we age, including making weight loss harder. In studying menopause and andropause, she’s a proponent of plant-derived bioidentical hormones, mostly because of the harsh side-effects of the animal-derived synthetic hormones that have been prescribed for years.

Hi Romy,
Just wanted to drop a line and let you know I’m loving the show. I started listening last week after hearing the ads on Slice of Sci-Fi, and I’ve already listened to all but the most recent episode. I discovered the show shortly after starting a new workout plan and clean eating regimen after putting on a lot of weight over the last year, and it’s been a real inspiration. I’m even cutting out gluten for (at least) a couple of weeks!

Oh, BUT!!! You have got to change the name of the show. Don’t you have Vons supermarkets in Arizona?
